LED Trans-illuminator UT-4400 ultra-bright LED transilluminator with triple wave length range. Designed for viewing stained gels on the laboratory bench within gel documentation system.

The LED for excitation does not cause burn to your skin - No DNA damage inherent to UV. Uniformity supplies <5 to 10 % coefficient of variance across the full filter area. Sensitivity: Up to 1 ng.

Lighting from the LED source inside the instrument produces Blue light with a narrow emission with wavelength ranging 530 nm, 630 nm, 470 nm. Blue light is more effective for the excitation of most nucleic acid and protein stains. The transilluminator is fully assembled and ready to use. It comprises a DC 24V power supply.
